lost in the city of love ♥
My work finally gave me a chance to travel in one of the finest and best loved city in the country. Iloilo.
This travel is an unexpected one. And surely a special favor for me. When i heard about this out of town official business trip, just got so excited. Indeed a sweet escape. And when you are lost in a city, there will be bunch of angels that will surely come along your way. Surely an experience.
Here.
I'l surely be back soon ♥
20 things
Posted this yesterday on my Instagram . It summarizes the things that i would want to do and definitely will start doing.
1. Drink a lot of H2o and green tea- there's no absolute cleansing medicine nor formula than natural water, tea and fresh juices. Drinking lots of water will not only cleanses our internal parts but also offer
so many benefits in us. I'l drink lots of it from this moment on.
2. Eat a big breakfast, average lunch & tiny diner - I wouldn't find this hard to follow. Our family is an avid fan of breakfast. We make it point that we will leave our house before bound to work with a stomach full of rice and brekky. We were accustomed to have a full breakfast . It is the most important meal of the day. I usually eat cereals during lunch. Medyo nagtitipid ang peg. hahahaha.
3.Eat fruits and veggies + natural food-fruits and veggies are a good source of vitamins. Therefore we need to take them as part of our regular meal.
4.go for a walk, swim, bike ,ride- walking is love.i don't know how to swim.biking would be a lot of fun!
5.read a book- it will take you to places you've never been to before.
6.Go to bed earlier-yay. this would be my dilemma. i sleep so late. i love to tinker my phone and play candy crush. i usually take a bath during midnight. i'm a vampire.
7.stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself and others-this will surely benefit me most :)
8. don't dwell on the past. turn it into a start- yes. i take past as an experience. surely learned a bunch from it.
9.enjoy little things in life- like stare at sky's vastness during night time, eat a cotton candy.walk barefoot.
10.do not judge nor compare yourself to others- for no one has the right to judge. i do it sometime though.
11.Begin yoga or meditation-tried yoga last year and it was great. hope i could try it again.. soon.
12.do not put things off-nah.
13.avoid processed food-will surely do this.
14.stretch daily to increase flexibility-and i'l do planking as well :)
15.listen to peaceful music-and more of worship songs.
16.live in a tidy place- do de-cluttering if possible.
17.wear clothes that make you happy
18.throw away things you don't need
19.remember that all the efforts you are making now will pay in the end- all the hard works will not surely be put in vain
20.go outside- go outside. outside your boundaries, outside your comfort zone. the beautiful world is just too good to explore.
These are my 20 things i would love to do. So what are yours?
2014 Youth Olympic -Nanjing China
I can't help but be amazed at this spectacular video i came across as I was browsing Youtube. As of this moment, this video got 9,799,192 hits already. Certainly, it was the highlight of 2014 Youth Olympic held at Nanjing China. At first glance, I couldn't believe what i was seeing. Hundreds of humans were actually dancing in the sky. Such a great army of talents. It was beautifully choreographed indeed. Can't help but to post it on my blog. Surely worth of an entry.
To the person behind this magical performance, Can I have your mind?
heart's day ♥
It's the 14th day of February and therefore it is valentines day. Everyone has this gushy mushy feeling and look all over their faces. Flowers and chocolates are everywhere as guys are trying to woo their girls once again :p
V' day is different among other holidays because it is celebrated all over the world as a celebration of love.
In fact, the popularity of Valentine's Day has led to the flooding of markets with Valentine's Day gifts.
Today Valentine day has become a craze particularly amongst the youth. Young lovers make elaborate plans for celebrating this day well in advance. Those without lovers desperately seek dates with a view to celebrate Valentine's Day in a romantic manner. Shops selling cards, flowers and other romantic gifts are decked up with symbols of romance- hearts, rose and cupid. Jewelers attempt to lure lovers with attractive schemes and vibrant display of eye-catching jewelry.
Lovers holding hands and celebrating this day is a common sight in parks and restaurants. Special Valentine day parties are also organized by many hotels and discotheques. Some people also choose to go to romantic getaways for celebrating this day quietly with their loved ones. These are just few of the many too good to be true scenery during love month. May we always show true and sincere love not only to our loved ones but to everyone as well not only only on this day but to to the rest of the year. After all, God hath first love us even if we are sinners., He chose to love us. Let as always remember His teachings in 1 Corinthians 13.
3 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love
I got you ♥
My heart's brimming with gladness ☻ After almost eternity of waiting, i finally got my +Daniel Wellington Watches .I fell in love with DW when i saw and read about it on Patty Laurel's blog. She featured it like two years ago. Since then, I became i fan of the classic and timeless brand. I told myself then that someday, that stunning piece would be mine. Almost everyday, I would browse on my Instagram feed just to take a peek of DW posts. And just like that, I am always in awe whenever I see those stunning pieces wore elegantly on someone's wrist. My addiction to Dw continuously grow. I was thinking though that its quite impossible for me to buy Dw. First and foremost, its a bit pricey as compared to other watches I owned. Secondly, it's not being sold to ordinary malls. I learned that in Manila, Dw is only available at Powerplant and Shangrila @tempomanila. Last week, my brother in law emailed me and ask what specific model of Dw i would want to have. I immediately replied! Its Classic Sheffield Lady I told him. Then he started to calculate. And finally, he confirmed that i would receive it after how many days. I was just sooo happy ☻ How could possibly be true! I even emailed the customer service of Dw, just to inquire about their policies regarding shipments and charges on customs. And to my surprise, they politely emailed back. And today, February 2,2015 at around 11 am, I just got my Classic Sheffield Dw. ♥♥♥ It was carefully nestled on a box with DW logo engraved on it. Just perfectly classic , timeless and stunning.
changes
There's no really such thing as permanent in this world but change.
Everything and everyone is changing. That includes relationships, status, people, and i could go on my list forever. Last week, i received a very sad news. Our helper (or our so -called my niece' yaya ) bid her goodbye to our household. She's not the perfect helper though. In fact, my sisters doesn't like her.Well, for some major reasons of course. Almost two years ago, we were in a dire need for a helper. We prayed that God would send someone who would take good care on our niece because all of us are full time workers. So as we pray, we waited patiently whom God will send to us. And then my office mate referred 'Ate' to us. We don't know her personally but we trusted that she was the answered prayer. She was indeed 'masipag' and trustworthy as well. And not like any other helper like we just had before, she never asked for an advanced salary. For almost two years, she was indeed our helper. And we treated as her like a part in our family. I myself was accustomed of having her around. At mornings, she would wake up at an early hour and would cook breakfast for us. And during night time, as i got home tired from the office, dinner is already served. So with that, i truly appreciated her. When i heard the sad news from her, i couldn't believe that she's actually leaving us. Though as I've said, she's not the perfect helper, still having her helped us so much. It was such a drastic 'CHANGE'
But that's life. Change. People will come. And then they go. The best thing to do is to accept it. And make your most out of it to adjust. It's not that simple surely. I will take it instead as a challenge. Challenge to embrace changes, and challenge to experience breakthrough in life.
christmas morning of 2014
Nothing beats like Christmas mornings. Its the most wonderful time of the year
that everyone is just so excited when it is finally approaching. Every family has their own share how they
are celebrating this season, for us, it is simply waking up so early , eating the Noche Buena meal left overs, dressing up with colorful outfits and lastly, visiting granny.
Sharing on my blog some captures took last CHristmas, it was a late post though.
