daddy- the only man i always look up to ♥
Yesterday, #tenfifteenfifteen was my Dad's beloved birthday. For four years now , we are celebrating his birthday without him. My Dad joined our creator already and our hearts still misses him so badly. My sister wrote a post on her facebook timeline and it really put me to tears. How we loved our Dad, and how he loved us also. I know that post belongs to my sister, but this is my blog and i just want to share it here.

Happiest bday to the man I most look up to, Jesus or Jess for some, mi padre. Always has his heart closest to the poor and needy. Whatever little he has left, he won't hesitate to share. Graduated salutatorian and valedictorian despite of humble beginnings, not having enough money was never a reason to excel in class he always said. Excellent auditor to boot. He can balance banks books in one glance, his eyes trained that way, see an error in an instant. That is why I followed his footsteps and took up accountancy, but that's another story. And gosh his dishes..I fell short in comparison to his cooking. He made sure he has food to any visitor who stepped in our house, just only imagine how he feed his own children. One thing why he's cut above the rest, he took care of mom never left her side. When mom needed someone to clothe her, feed her, bathe her or clean her up cos she's half-paralyzedue to stroke. Love u dad,. That is why I sleep peacefully at night ever

since I remember cos I know I'm loved. Your indeed a diamond of a person, Di. This was his letter to me, a year and some months later, he passed away .. Just a month after my mom was gone .. It was saddening. But I came upon this poem which made me come at peace with DEATH. We are all just petals, beautiful for a time. Then we return to the dirt, where we began.
