october high
October is my late father's birth month.
His birthday is actually in the 15th of ten. Me and my sibs planned a very simple but a special celebration for this occasion. We took our leave from work and travel all the way to my Dad's humble town. But prior to that day, we all agreed to take full responsibility for that particular partee. My sister made a menu, and collected a certain amount to each one of us. We then headed to market and personally buy all the ingredients. Then we headed to my dad's little town. He really love to go there when he was still here with us. That place offers so much. It is so lovely, so peaceful and serene. Life in there is so simple.
I enjoyed hanging out with my Lola and Tita's. My nephew and niece enjoyed playing with their cousins. Simple joys that the memories it brought surely last for a lifetime. All in all, we really had a great time. Im sure Dad will be happy and proud.
And of course there'll be no occasion without picture taking. Here are just some of the captured moments.

Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones Wedding
I am addicted to wedding videos. And as i lazily browsing through Youtube, this video
caught my attention, once again. Though I've seen it for how many times since it was being uploaded, i still find myself being fascinated by this. It was indeed a heart warming wedding of Echo & Kim. I just simply admire how they love each other. Sharing their wedding on my blog.

prayer
This morning, I came across to a particular email that caught my attention. A very simple yet powerful
prayer that all of us must utter. Here.
My Father—You are my watchful Provider and my daily Supplier. Thank You that I am never out of Your sight or Your care. I am so grateful to be Your child—to be upheld by Your hand, to be strengthened by Your grace, to be renewed by Your mercies, to be covered by Your wings, to be kept by Your power, to be reassured by Your word, to be refreshed by Your Spirit, and to be given a place at Your table.
Thank You for the bread you place before me—not yesterday’s portion, but new and fresh—wholesome, nourishing, hearty. Bread prepared by Your hand to give me exactly what I need today.
Thank You for not only providing my daily bread, but for breaking bread with me—being near, communing, listening, knowing my heart, being familiar with all my ways. I partake today of Your healing bread, sustaining bread, enabling bread, life-giving bread. Quicken my body, restore my soul, energize my spirit. Fill my hungry heart!
I know when I ask for bread You will not give me a stone. I rejoice in the declaration of the Psalmist, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread.” Come, Father, dine with me and I will be full, sup with me and I will be satisfied, be my portion and I will delight in your abundance.
Oh, Lord, You are my portion forever!
Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

sunday by the bay
Few days ago, my sisters and I planned a simple sunday getaway for a simple birthday celebration of my precious niece. Although it surely broke our hearts, we decided to skip the Sunday service. All of our days are so hectic considering that we are all full time workers. And spending sunday on a getaway surely gives us an enormous amount of happiness. We ponder upon the thought that we deserve such laid back moments where in we would just hang out, talk, laugh and eat.A very rare sunday indeed. It was Andi's 3rd birthday :) And I could say that it was fantastic ♥
Below are some vignettes of our sunday by the bay :)
